Starting with a high performance platform lens, the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 wide-angle zoom lens, Duclos Lenses has developed a conversion and re-housing process which enables the famous lens to interfaces with any PL mount camera including the RED Helium or the ARRI Alexa. The addition of a new lubricated, geared and marked aperture ring allows for precise yet user-friendly control. Duclos Lenses has refined the optics internally by stabilizing the image while focusing and zooming as well as calibrated the optics for precise axial alignment to really squeeze the most performance possible out of the original 11-16mm lens. 90% of the body has been re-engineered using 6061 aluminum, anodized matte black for a professional, durable finish.
The final product is a small, lightweight lens perfectly capable of holding it’s own against the likes of other motion picture optics.
